The Musée d’Orsay is the world’s largest institution devoted to Impressionism, with a program ranging from major retrospectives to smaller exhibitions. Proof of the quality of this program are the museum’s curious nocturnes, which return this season. From November 2024 until next summer, the cultural center will organize these enchanting evenings around a particular theme, on a few Thursdays each year. And for the icing on the cake, admission will be free for young people aged 18 to 25.
Free cultural evenings at the Musée d’Orsay
A few months ago, the Musée d’Orsay celebrated the 150th anniversary of Impressionism in style, with a major exhibition dedicated to the movement. The highlight was one of the museum’s famous nocturnes, during which art, music and festivities were intertwined in a series of concerts and performances held outside normal opening hours. And it’s precisely this program that will be back on November 14, with the same ingredients.
Concerts, screenings, performances, DJ sets: these are just some of the many events that will take place throughout the season within the walls of the Musée d’Orsay. Whether you’re with friends, family or just the two of you, join us for an evening of culture and art at the Musée d’Orsay. The next event is scheduled for November 14, with a cine-concert and cosmic encounters. This will be followed on December 5 by an evening in connection with Peindre les Hommes, the exhibition dedicated to Gustave Caillebotte. And there are plenty of other surprises in store for next year.
Mark your calendars!
