It’s one thing to have a great restaurant, it’s quite another to have a culinary experience! Former Top Chef contestant Jean Covillault is offering a special “food and music” menu at OFF Seine Paris.

Chef Jean Covillault has come up with the idea of adding a new ingredient to your restaurant outing! And the ingredient that’s sure to spice up your menu is a party! Alongside Team JeanJean, the chef will be launching “Le Jaja, La Java, Les JeanJean” culinary evenings at OFF Paris Seine! With this hedonistic concept, Covillault simply wants to combine two fundamental pleasures: eating well and partying hard!
Jean Covillault plans to organize these “culinaro-festive” evenings every 2 to 3 months, with a theme, a unique menu and a very affordable price! For €38, you get a starter, main course and dessert, plus a DJ playing until 2am! The first session is coming soon, with a very festive theme, and will take place on the floating hotel OFF Paris Seine!
The first “Soul & Disco” evening
So what will the first edition of “Le Jaja, La Java, Les JeanJean” be all about? On Friday December 6, it’ll be “Soul & Disco” at the table and on the decks!
For the occasion, Covillault has drawn on soul food from the Afro-American communities of the American South to concoct the menu!
- Canapé: Corn falafel, Skewer of glazed gizzard, Fried plantain
- Appetizer: Bourbon chicken liver mousse, corn fricassee, red onion confit with raspberry vinegar
- Main course: Chicken waffle, choux pack choï
- Dessert: Corn French toast
And when it comes to sound, you’ll be treated to a disco playlist! So get out your forks and bell-bottoms, we’re waiting for you at the table and on the dancefloor on Friday December 6th!
