Circulation(s), an outstanding festival dedicated to young photographic talent, returns in April to bring us news from the very dynamic European scene. With an exhibition of over twenty artists, a focus on Lithuania, what’s new in the world of emerging photography?
Circulation(s), an unlimited pass to Europe
At Circulation(s), more than anywhere else, you can take a deep dive into contemporary and emerging photography. Every year since 2011, the festival has showcased the work of dozens of photographers, taking visitors on a fascinating exploration. A fascinating journey, in turn aesthetic, cultural, tinged from time to time with political and societal concerns, Circulation(s) brings together the young European talents of the moment.
Rich in discoveries, favorites and questions… this not-to-be-missed event on the Parisian cultural calendar awaits you from April 5 at 104.
A selection of 23 artists to explore the many facets of emerging photography
Once again this year, you’ll be able to enjoy a cutting-edge selection of 23 artists (of European nationality or resident in Europe) and a wide range of themes, explorations and stories.
From the intimate narrative of French photographer Emeline Amétis‘s peyi manman series , to Italian photographer Giulia Frigieri ‘s correspondence between youth and the volcanoes of the Aeolian Islands, to Tomasz Kaweck’s disturbing nocturnal wanderings through Poland, Circulation(s) showcases the many paths that contemporary photography can take, whether documentary, fictional, realistic, multidisciplinary or inspired by photo-novels.
