Paris and cinema, it’s a great love story! If cinema is your thing, then you’re going to love the “L’Intemporel” boutique. Located in the 4ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, this boutique/gallery offers movie posters, reproductions and even original…
A unique film poster store in Paris
Welcome to Ali Baba’s cave for film buffs. Founded by Philippe in 1980, this boutique-gallery offers mainly old movie posters, dating back to 1902, but also a few posters of current films: from Hitchcock to Miyazaki or Godard, there’s not a big name in cinema missing. And believe us, you’re not immune to finding some real treasures! Unlike today, the posters were hand-made: realistic drawings, paintings… everything was designed to make viewers want to go and see the film! So it’s easy to see why some movie fans collect vintage posters.
Here you’ll find faithful reproductions of the great 40 x 55 cm film posters, as well as genuine originals. All genres are represented: action, science fiction, horror, comedy… you’re bound to find your favorite film among the lot! By the way, not all posters are in French! You’ll find posters in every language: English, Italian, Japanese…
The store is also packed with beautiful black-and-white photos of filmmakers, actors, artists and cult scenes that have left their mark on our times. You’ll also find some movie figurines, as well as posters of your favorite music groups and singers: Dalida, ACDC, etc.
While original posters can cost up to 400 euros, depending on the film, demand and rarity, reproductions are very affordable. Count on between 15 and 25 euros, depending on the format you choose!
