Last summer, the famous culinary guide “La Liste” named this Parisian patisserie “Best Patisserie in the World”. A true consecration for the prestigious Ritz Paris le Comptoir address, driven by the undeniable talent of passionate Chef François Perret. And now, in May 2025, a second Ritz Paris Le Comptoir boutique is set to open in the capital. News that should delight sweet tooths…
The world’s best patisserie opens a 2nd Parisian boutique
After its legendary patisserie on rue Cambon, Ritz Paris Le Comptoir is inviting itself into the heart of literary Paris. Opposite Le Bon Marché, the little sister of Ritz Paris Le Comptoir is about to open at 45 rue de Sèvres. But what changes at the heart of this new address? The essence of Ritz Paris le Comptoir remains the same, with excellence as its watchword, the same excellence that made the reputation of its pastry shop in the 1st arrondissement. For François Perret, this new address is an opportunity to offer Parisians and tourists on the Left Bank “the chance to make the Ritz Paris legend their own” and take his creations home with them.

But what gourmet gems can you enjoy at the heart of the Comptoir de la Rive Gauche? On the menu, the famous Mille-feuille-To-Go, viennoiseries and savoury sandwiches. Of course, François Perret’s iconic creations can also be found on the store’s shelves. Madeleines and marbled entremets rub shoulders with the Chef’s inventive pastries, which change with the seasons. All these sweets are carefully packaged in illustrated boxes bearing the effigies of César Ritz, Auguste Escoffer and François Perret, like little works of art.
These creations are “ready to be enjoyed as you stroll through Paris”.
But that’s not all. To celebrate the opening, Ritz Paris le Comptoir is pulling out all the stops with a brand-new collection of éclairs. For the occasion, François Perret has created trompe-l’oeil eclairs, with creamy chocolate or vanilla hearts. Exclusive to the Rive Gauche boutique, the coffee éclair, created with the Ritz Paris le Comptoir blend, completes the new range. Blend is the first made-to-measure coffee created by Ritz Paris le Comptoir, in collaboration with Lomi, one of the oldest roasting houses in Paris.
And in terms of décor, the Ritz Paris le Comptoir on rue de Sèvres retains the legendary elegance of rue Cambon. A setting of exceptional architecture in which to savour the sweets of François Perret, who, with this new address, is keen to “share his singular vision of gourmet delights with as many people as possible”. So, will the new boutique at 45 rue de Sèvres soon be honored by La Liste? Who knows, perhaps the famous culinary guide will also award it the title of best patisserie in the world?
