Small, light and golden, the chouquette hides under its thin crust a heart of air and softness that gives it its charm. Traditionally sprinkled with grains of sugar, it’s best eaten in a warm cone, as a snack or with breakfast. Long confined to childhood memories, the chouquette is now making a real comeback! Some bakeries are even offering more generous versions, such as Paris & Co, which offers a well-stuffed version in a variety of flavors.
Every Sunday, Paris & Co transforms its two bakeries into a giant chouquette bar. Sweet and addictive, the little pastries are generously topped with cream. Chocolate, vanilla, pistachio: the great classics are on offer in terms of taste, as are more surprising creations such as sesame.
