Scheduled for this summer, this big Brazilian ball is sure to get Paris dancing.
Under the sunlight of the tropics… Yes, but without leaving Paris!
What if the glass roof of the Grand Palais became the stage for a huge Brazilian ball? With the summer vacations just around the corner, this sweet dream will become reality. After reopening its ice rink this winter (the world’s largest indoor ice rink, no less), the Grand Palais will take on a tropical allure.
This summer, as part of the France-Brazil 2025 cultural season, a number of supercharged events will be held throughout the capital. The Grand Palais is set to stand out from the crowd, with a brand new summer program dubbed “Grand Palais d’été”. The colorful festivities include a Brazilian parade in July, linking the legendary Champs-Elysées avenue to the Grand Palais. A parade of flamboyant costumes, which will bring a breath of warmth to the City of Light.
A Brazilian parade followed by a colorful ball, THE festive event of the summer.
But that’s not all. This summer in Paris, there’s another party to look forward to. It’s a XXL Brazilian ball, scheduled for July 5, 2025. On the said evening, Samba tunes will rock the Nave of the Grand Palais. Multicolored streamers, music galore, endless dance steps and a huge dose of good humor… Rio de Janeiro comes to the Grand Palais. And to complete the show, a troupe of renowned Brazilian dancers will be on hand. In short, it’s a festive summer rendezvous not to be missed.
This summer, get out the pearls, rhinestones, sequins and feather things from your closet, and head to the 8th arrondissement to dance the night away. Chaleur do Brazil!
