For five days after the summer break, Montmartre will once again host one of its most popular events. The Grape Harvest Festival returns from October 7 to 11, 2026, with events taking place around the Sacré-Cœur as well as in several neighborhoods of the 18th arrondissement. This 93rd edition will place music at the center of a program that blends Montmartre traditions, concerts, fine dining, and large-scale free festivals.
2026 Grape Harvest Festival: The 18th Arrondissement Sets the Pace
This year’s theme, “The 18th Sets the Rhythm,” will bring together marching bands, choirs, DJ sets, acoustic concerts, and entertainment. The festivities will kick off on Wednesday, October 7, with a party bringing together 400 local children, a concert at Bretonneau Hospital, and a launch party at the 18th arrondissement town hall. The next day, schoolchildren will gather at Louise-Michel Square for the children’s choir performance, followed by a night run scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Curious visitors will also be able to explore the vineyards of Clos Montmartre, which are usually closed to the public. Several guided tours are scheduled for October 7, 8, 9, and 11, led by a historian specializing in viticulture. This is a rare opportunity to discover this hidden plot of land nestled between Rue des Saules and Rue Saint-Vincent, just a few steps from Sacré-Cœur.
The weekend’s main highlight will take place on October 10. Following the Ban des Vendanges, the Grand Parade will set off from Clos Montmartre at 11:45 a.m. and head to the 18th arrondissement town hall. Nearly 1,400 participants and more than fifty wine, culinary, and traditional brotherhoods are expected in the streets of the Butte. The procession will pass through Rue de l’Abreuvoir, Avenue Junot, and Rue Caulaincourt, among other streets.

From Friday through Sunday, the Arènes de Montmartre will also host the Scène des Vendanges, featuring acoustic concerts, tastings, and talks. Around the Sacré-Cœur, the Parcours du Goût will bring together producers, winemakers, and artisans who will showcase their regional specialties.
The final day will feature two particularly beloved traditions: the “no-proposal” ceremony, held on Sunday morning at Place des Abbesses, followed by the closing ball at Square Louise-Michel. From 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a free DJ set will transform the base of the Sacré-Cœur into a massive dance floor to bring the Harvest Festival to a musical close.
See you there!
