Just like every year as the holidays approach, Paris lights up! Shops, streets, and legendary avenues like the Champs-Élysées will sparkle with a thousand lights, much to the delight of children young and old. And if there’s one thing we love to do at the end of the year, it’s strolling through the light displays. That’s perfect timing, since this coming November, the Parc Floral’s “Odyssée Lumineuse” will feature 2 km of lanterns, each one more magnificent and poetic than the last.
Paris’s largest light display returns with an all-new design
Every year, the Parc Floral’s “Odyssée Lumineuse” leaves us starry-eyed. It’s no wonder—this nearly 2-kilometer walk truly has it all! Each lantern, handmade from iron and silk, is one of a kind.
This year, from November 14, 2026, to January 24, 2027, you’ll be able to admire magnificent lanterns depicting wild animals (some of which are extinct or endangered), exotic plants, and fantastical creatures… some of which are truly impressive in size! The largest one, in fact, reaches 20 meters in height. In all, the two dozen displays that will unfold before your eyes will transport you to a whole other world. Just like last year, the sky over the Parc Floral will be adorned with the colors of the Northern Lights. A light show to enjoy throughout your evening, combining art and technology to recreate this rare and captivating natural phenomenon.
But this year’s big new feature will take place on the water! To extend the magical atmosphere of the setting, the park’s lakes will be illuminated in a thousand and one colors, set to the rhythm of the music. A mesmerizing spectacle, where the fountains will seem to dance before your eyes. Another new feature: a poetic shadow puppet show will enchant visitors every evening, adding even more magic to the experience.
