Behind its door, the traditional hotel bed has vanished. In its place? A coffin. And, as strange as it may seem, it is indeed possible to sleep in it… well, at least to spend the night there.

For Halloween, easyHotel is transforming Room 807 at one of its hotels into a macabre lair. And as twilight envelops the room, the funeral-themed details are revealed and the atmosphere slowly becomes eerie…
A coffin… with all the comforts
Forget the hotel bed: in Room 807, a coffin awaits you for the night. But rest assured (or not)—beneath the coffin’s ominous appearance lies a genuine 30-cm-thick easyHotel mattress, specially adapted for this unusual sleeping spot. It’s enough to let you “rest in peace” in a surprisingly comfortable funeral setting.
Six nights to try the experience… if you dare
All in all, Room 807 will be available for booking for five nights, from October 26 to 30, 2026. Then comes the most eerie night of the year: October 31, reserved for the grand prize winner of the contest organized by easyHotel on Instagram.
