The New York band The Strokes will perform on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Accor Arena for a one-night-only show in France. This concert marks the band’s return to a Parisian stage since their performance at the Olympia on February 18, 2020, and is part of the European tour accompanying the release of their seventh studio album, *Reality Awaits*, which came out on June 26, 2026.
Formed in New York in 1998 around Julian Casablancas, the band established itself in the early 2000s as one of the spearheads of the indie rock revival, driven by its debut album *Is This It* (2001), which is regularly cited by the music press as one of the best debut albums in the history of the genre.
A tour launched in the wake of Coachella
The announcement of this Paris show came in the spring of 2026, shortly after the band’s performance at Coachella and ahead of the release of *Reality Awaits*, whose first single, “Going Shopping,” had been unveiled prior to the album’s release. The resulting European tour kicked off in Amsterdam on October 11, 2026, before concluding in Paris.
For this stop at the Accor Arena, The Strokes will be joined by two opening acts: the British band Fat White Family and Australian artist Alex Cameron. Twenty-five years after “Is This It,” The Strokes will take the stage at the Accor Arena for the first time, a venue that will soon host Angèle, Sombr, Mosimann, Fontaines D.C., and other giants of today’s international music scene.
A first-time performance at Bercy for the band
While The Strokes have performed in Paris on several occasions—notably duringa memorable show at the Olympia in February 2020 and on the Rock en Seine stage in 2023—this October 22, 2026, date marks their first appearance at the Accor Arena. This step up in scale coincides with the release of their seventh album. On stage, the band remains true to its original lineup: Julian Casablancas on vocals, Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr. on guitars, Nikolai Fraiture on bass, and Fabrizio Moretti on drums.
