People usually come here to see a concert, a game, or a show. On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Accor Arena will offer a rather different experience: a behind-the-scenes tour of the venue without a concert ticket. For the first time, the Bercy venue is participating in European Heritage Days with a series of free guided tours.
The main attraction is discovering the areas that remain hidden from view when the thousands of spectators take their seats in the stands. The tour will take visitors through the technical areas, the artists’ dressing rooms , and several key locations essential to the Arena’s operations. The guides will also discuss the building’s history, its architecture, and the logistics required to transform the venue for the various events it hosts.
Opened on February 29, 1984, the former Paris-Bercy venue has become one of the capital’s most famous arenas over the past four decades. International concerts, sporting events, and major shows take place there year-round, with venue configurations that can change radically from one event to the next.
Free tours of one of Europe’s largest venues
For Heritage Days, tours will be organized in groups of 15 to 20 participants and will last between 45 minutes and one hour. Several tours are scheduled between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The tour is free, but reservations are required. For this first participation, the Accor Arena joins the long list of Parisian venues that the European Heritage Days allow visitors to experience in a new light—this time offering a look behind the scenes of a venue that many know only from the stands.
