After more than a year’s hiatus, the Asian Street Food Festival will return to Paris on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, for its sixth edition. This time, the event will take place in a rather unexpected setting: the Grande Pagode de Vincennes, on the shores of Lake Daumesnil. For two days, the site will host a large food court, a craft market, and various activities celebrating Asian cultures. Admission will be free, but advance registration will be required.
The festival drew more than 15,000 visitors during its previous edition, held in January 2025 for the Lunar New Year. Originally scheduled for September of that same year, its return was ultimately postponed. This 2026 edition will therefore mark a return to the event’s summer format.
About twenty Asian street food stands in Paris
The main attraction will, of course, be the food. Around twenty food stands will showcase various cuisines from across the continent, ranging from Japan to Cambodia, including China, Korea, India, and Vietnam.
On the Japanese side, highlights will include ramen, melon pan—those sweet buns recognizable by their checkered crust—as well as Mexican-Japanese fusion cuisine. A bar entirely dedicated to matcha will round out the offerings.

And beyond the food offerings, an Asian Market will bring together artisans, designers, and brands focused on fashion, wellness, and Asian culture, along with a tattoo area, workshops, blind taste tests, karaoke, and games.
South Asia in the spotlight for the 2026 edition
This year, part of the program will be specifically dedicated to South Asia. From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., dance performances, traditional and contemporary music, martial arts demonstrations, and concerts will take the stage one after another. Starting at 5:00 p.m., DJ sets will keep the event going with a mix of Asian sounds, R&B, hip-hop, pop, and electronic music. It’s sure to make the festival a delightful and festive way to kick off the new school year!
