This summer, the town in the Seine-et-Marne département enchanted history lovers with Les Médiévales de Provins. To the delight of young and old alike, France’s largest medieval festival made a comeback. The 39th medieval festival featured street performances, concerts and a medieval ball. In Paris, while the most beautiful Christmas markets are back, the town of Provins invites you to its Medieval Christmas Market!
13th edition on December 14 and 15, 2024
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the festivities! On December 14 and 15, 2024, the Gardes-Foires de Champagne association invites you to the 13th edition of its medieval market. At the Provins Christmas Market, over 60 demonstrators will take you on a journey through time. Fire-eaters, troubadours, jugglers… A fun and authentic market awaits you in the upper town. Camps, forge demonstrations and workshops are also planned for a total immersion in the Middle Ages. Leather purses, face painting, archery, pony rides… the Provins Christmas Market has something for the whole family!

But the festivities don’t stop there! In addition to the Christmas Market, a medieval ball, fire shows and a live crib performance by Saint-François await you. In addition to these free events, exciting workshops are also on the program, for a small fee.
