This 50 cm tall man urinating while standing is the symbol of the city. Legend has it that a young boy saved Brussels by extinguishing a fire… with his pee. Stolen several times, then replaced by a copy since 1619, you’ll find its female version a stone’s throw from the Grand-Place: Jeanneke Pis.
