On September 13, 2025, Voices of Fire rocked St. Peter’s Square for Grace for the World. With their powerful harmonies and spiritual strength, they offered a moment of rare intensity, becoming one of the highlights of this historic evening.
Their infectious energy transported the audience with renditions of THE ONE (with Pharrell Williams), ANYWHERE and MIRACLE WORKER, taken from their latest album. All this among a prestigious line-up that also included Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, Clipse, Jennifer Hudson and Karol G.
And the timing was perfect: just one week before this concert, the band unveiled OPHANIM, opening a new page in their musical history.
The birth and rise of Voices of Fire
Born of the Netflix documentary series of the same name, the Voices of Fire choir was the brainchild of Pharrell Williams and his uncle, Bishop Ezekiel Williams, who set out in search of voices capable of forming a world-renowned gospel ensemble. It was in Pharrell’s hometown of Hampton Roads, Virginia, that singers of all backgrounds and generations came together to create this artistic and spiritual adventure.
Their fame quickly spread, notably with the title track JOY (Unspeakable), the fruit of a gospel-pop fusion in which Pharrell’s production sublimates the group’s choral power.
In addition to music, the choir has also invited itself into the world of fashion: we saw them at Pharrell Williams ‘ very first fashion show as artistic director of the Louis Vuitton men’s line in 2023, and more recently at Paris Fashion Week for the spring-summer 2026 collection. A bold blend of style and spiritual fervor that has propelled Voices of Fire onto the international scene.
OPHANIM: new momentum
With its 13 tracks, their new album OPHANIM pushes the group’s collaborative work and musical openness even further. It includes Miracle Worker, already revealed, but also tracks in partnership with several stars of the international scene. These include The One with Pharrell Williams, Business with John Legend and Won’t He Do It? with Teddy Swims. The album also features collaborations with CeeLo Green & Quavo and Zacardi Cortez.
Distributed by Warner Records, OPHANIM is available for download on the official Voices of Fire website. For collectors, a limited vinyl edition features specially designed sleeves for each track.
