The NBA Summer House: More Than Just a Sports Event
Forget the idea of a simple basketball exhibition: the Palais Brongniart is transforming into a giant playground, with several courts hosting a series of shooting challenges, skill contests, and 3×3 tournaments open to all skill levels. Another highlight of the visit: the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy—the trophy awarded each year to the NBA champion—on display for the occasion and available for a souvenir photo.
The program isn’t limited to daytime activities over the weekend, either. Starting Friday, July 31, once the doors close to the public, the Palais Brongniart will host the NBA Summer House After Dark, an evening event headlined by Tiakola that extends the event’s focus on music and urban culture—though tickets are already sold out.
A free experience, open to everyone
On Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, the event will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with free admission upon registration, and a special guest: Victor Wembanyama will be there in person, alongside other French basketball personalities who will make surprise appearances throughout the weekend. Families, casual players, and basketball fans will all come together, with areas designed for the youngest attendees and partner booths offering product demonstrations and activities throughout the day.
