The Tutankhamun exhibition in Paris: an unforgettable journey through time
It has been over 100 years since the young pharaoh’s tomb was discovered. From July 3 to September 2, you’ll travel to the heart of ancient Egypt. Across a 2,500-square-meter exhibition space, you’ll discover various objects belonging to the young pharaoh, who died at age 19, such as funerary treasures offered for his final journey, furniture of rare finesse, and sculptures….

But the highlight of the show will undoubtedly be the 360° reconstruction of his tomb, where you’ll truly feel like you’re stepping into the shoes of an archaeologist. Throughout the exhibition, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the work of the researchers, Egyptologists, and archaeologists who brought this tomb to light. You’ll admire various archival reproductions, period photos, and sketches, but you’ll also be able to fully immerse yourself in the researchers’ work thanks to a 360° projection room and even a virtual reality experience.
