Two brothers of Tibetan descent opened Mofe, a family-run restaurant little known to Parisians, which showcases the culinary traditions of Tibet and Nepal. You’ll enjoy family recipes passed down by their mother, as well as truly original dishes that will transport you to another world!
Here, you’ll get to enjoy momos! These traditional ravioli-like dumplings are one of the restaurant’s specialties. Stuffed with beef, chicken, or vegetables, they’re served in an absolutely exquisite sauce.
The menu also features keema, a dish of very thick noodles mixed with meat, fresh vegetables, fried onions, and seasoned with a house-made sauce. To balance out these flavors, we highly recommend the house lassi! A traditional yogurt-based drink, served here with mango and topped with whipped cream. A true delight for the palate.
In short, Mofé is the kind of place you’ll want to recommend to all your friends. The food takes you on a culinary journey, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it feels a bit like home. Head there before all of Paris flocks to it!
