The capital’s oldest walls will host a one-of-a-kind event in mid-September. It defies categorization: it’s not a club, nor is it the basement of a Haussmann-style building. Nor is it a festival in the traditional sense, with multiple stages. FIP 360 stands apart: a hybrid format that transforms a historic monument into a major musical event for one evening.
For its fifth edition, Radio France’s electronic music station is taking over the Monnaie de Paris, located at 11 quai de Conti in the 6th arrondissement. Following the Musée Carnavalet, the Petit Palais, and the royal chapel at the Château de Vincennes, it is here—in the main courtyard of France’s oldest institution still in operation—that the event will set up its speakers on Tuesday, September 8, from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.

A monument built during the reign of Charles the Bald, transformed into a dance floor for FIP 360
Founded in the 9th century during the reign of Charles the Bald, the Monnaie de Paris has been in continuous operation for over a thousand years. Its current building, a neoclassical palace organized around interior courtyards, spans 34,000 m² on the banks of the Seine, across from the Louvre. It is this contrast—between stone and cutting-edge electronic music—that has made the FIP 360 concept so compelling since its inception in 2019: reimagining exceptional heritage sites for an extraordinary night of electronic music.
The technology that makes this immersive experience possible is L-ISA, developed by L-Acoustics. Twelve speakers arranged in a 360-degree circle around the audience deliver spatialized sound that gives each set an enveloping quality. Approximately 2,000 festivalgoers are expected in the main courtyard to enjoy this acoustic experience, designed as a sensory journey.

A lineup ranging from hypnotic techno to experimental live performances
As for the lineup, three leading figures from the French electronic scene will take turns behind the decks. Chloé, a leading name behind the mixers, kicks things off with a DJ set. Kangding Ray, aka David Letellier, presents a 360 live performance designed specifically for the spatialized setup. The evening wraps up with Abs8lute, a leading figure in hypnotic techno and founder of the Venus Club collective.
