A breath of fresh air is sweeping through The Peninsula Paris. Every year, as the warm weather arrives, the Parisian luxury hotel reinvents itself and unveils a new theme for its rooftop terrace. This season, food lovers are invited to discover L’Heure Dorée, an invitation to dream in all its splendor. Is this one of the most beautiful rooftops of the season in Paris? With its enchanting decor, its sophisticated dishes and cocktails, its sunny ambiance, and its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower… Absolutely.
When the Paris sky turns golden, the L’Heure Dorée rooftop becomes the perfect setting

The L’Heure Dorée Rooftop rises like a Garden of Eden between heaven and earth. With the Iron Lady and Sacré-Cœur in plain sight, this ultra-chic rooftop terrace becomes the ideal setting for strolling, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris. As soon as the sun takes its bow and golden hues set the horizon ablaze, it’s time to escape…
In terms of colors, the outdoor furniture, dressed in bright hues, echoes the last rays of the sun. And this year, the decor pays tribute to our beloved capital with distinctly Parisian elements: street lamps, bookstalls, and elegant architectural details make up this refined setting. To accentuate this bucolic atmosphere, the Rooftop is also adorned with yellow and orange tulips , like an ode to spring.

Comfortably settled into the sun-yellow Roche Bobois benches and the lemon, white, and copper-toned poufs, connoisseurs of fine living let themselves be carried away by a “Belle Époque” playlist curated by the duo Bon Entendeur. To perfect the moment, the cocktail menu celebrates summer with elegance. Certain creations notably feature The Macallan Scotch whisky and its Distil Your World Paris vintage.
Exquisite cocktails, the melodies of Bon Entendeur, and a breathtaking view of all of Paris

As the melody of “Le Temps est bon” floats through the air and the Eiffel Tower takes shape in the background, we happily savor a few summery dishes to share.
Designed as a nod to the summer season, L’Heure Dorée’s menu was created by two-Michelin-starred chef David Bizet and pastry chef Anne Coruble. In this dreamlike setting, discerning palates discover subtle pairings between cocktails and gourmet creations.

Among the must-try items, the “Brise Parisienne” cocktail , with notes of coconut, vanilla, lime, and pineapple, pairs perfectly with the flaky brioche with Bellota ham and peach-tomato chutney, or the flame-grilled lobster roll. The “Ciel Ambré” cocktail, with flavors of The Macallan whiskey, amaretto, and coffee, perfectly complements the milk bread with dulce de leche and Tahitian vanilla created by Anne Coruble. Finally, you can’t miss the signature cookie, where crunchy cereal and melt-in-your-mouth gianduja come together in a nostalgic treat, served with peanut ice cream.
In short, a refined blend of cocktails, dishes, and desserts that perfectly evokes long summer evenings.
