Electronic music fans have been waiting for this news for several months: the Techno Parade will indeed be returning to Paris in 2026. The event, which has been absent from the calendar since its last edition in 2023, will return to the streets of the capital on Saturday, September 19.
This return has a special significance. After a cancellation in 2024 due to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the 2025 edition ultimately did not take place either, with organizers explaining that they wanted to rethink the event’s funding model and work on new long-term partnerships.

Created in 1998 and later supported by the Technopol association, the Techno Parade has become, over the years, one of the major festive events marking the start of the Parisian season. Inspired by Berlin’s Love Parade, it was conceived from the outset to champion and promote electronic music cultures in the public sphere.
The concept remains the same: sound trucks will parade through Paris, accompanied by DJs, collectives, labels, and thousands of festival-goers. During its largest editions, the event has drawn up to 400,000 people, making the Techno Parade one of the biggest electronic music gatherings in France.
For the 2026 edition, the route has not yet been revealed. However, during the last Techno Parade in 2023, the parade set off from the Bastille before heading to Nation, passing notably through République and Boulevard Voltaire.
Beyond the festivities, the event also retains its activist dimension. Since its inception, it has addressed issues related to the recognition of electronic music, nightlife, and independent party venues. The Technopol association has already issued a call for future floats for this return edition.
On September 19, Paris will once again welcome its floats, bass drums, and hundreds of thousands of dancers to the streets. After a two-year hiatus, the start of the 2026 season is sure to have an electro vibe!
