In the bustling Étienne Marcel neighborhood, Street Bangkok is making a comeback with a completely revamped concept. Behind this relaunch are Céline Chung and Billy Pham, founders of the Asian Club group, who previously launched Bao Family. Their goal is clear: to breathe new life into this iconic spot while evolving it, without losing what made it a success.
This temple of Thai street food has begun its rebirth
Before reimagining the space, the two partners took the time to understand what made up Street Bangkok’s DNA. Discussions with the founder, exchanges with the teams, tastings, feedback from regulars… everything was reviewed. The result is a new version that is more cohesive and easier to navigate, yet remains true to the original spirit. Gone are the dishes that strayed from authentic Thai street food; the menu returns to basics with bold flavors, quality ingredients, and hearty portions.

On the plate, chicken reigns supreme and comes in several varieties, including grilled Gai Yang chicken marinated in lemongrass, crispy fried chicken, and satay skewers. Each dish is served with rice and delicious homemade sauces, with that generous touch that characterizes Bangkok street food. Alongside these, you’ll find classics like pad thai, green curry, and “crying tiger,” all executed to perfection.
To round out the meal, you can’t miss the mango sticky rice or the Thai street toast, each served with an exceptional pandan sauce. On the drinks side, the menu also embraces Thai traditions with milk tea, a few cocktails with bold flavors, and spicy beer.

Beyond the plate, the open kitchen offers a view of the woks in action, the flames, and the chefs’ swift movements. A beautiful tribute to Southeast Asian street food, which extends into the decor as well. Designed by Céline Chung through her studio Imagina, it draws direct inspiration from the streets of Bangkok and their local culture. Stainless steel, neon lights, bright colors, corrugated metal elements: everything is there for a truly immersive experience.
With this reopening, Street Bangkok has reclaimed its unique place in the Parisian landscape. Neither fast food nor a simple canteen, the venue offers a more authentic and contemporary take on Thai street food. Having tried it out, we can’t recommend it enough!
