Stores closed in Paris on January 1, 2026
Most of the major shopping malls in Paris, but also in the Île-de-France region, will be closed on January 1ᵉʳ. Here is a non-exhaustive list of stores that will be closed on the first day of 2026:

Some department stores will be open, however, such as Samaritaine (12pm to 8pm) and Vallée Village (11am to 8pm). On the other hand, food stores such as minimarkets and convenience stores should still be open. So be sure to check the opening times before you go!
