You may not know it, but the Grand Palais hides a treasure unknown to Parisians: the Palais d’Antin. This magnificent place, located in the west wing of the monument, required five years of work before finally reopening to the public. A masterpiece to be discovered for free!
The Palais d’Antin: a sublime and little-known secret wing hidden in the heart of the Grand Palais
Closed since 2020 for restoration, this magnificent Beaux-Arts style building is every bit as impressive as the Grand Palais. Built for the 1900 World’s Fair, the Palais d’Antin is a dazzling place, bathed in light at all times. You will be struck by the beauty of its elliptical dome, composed of 632 glass panels! A breathtaking sight that will leave you in awe of such beauty!

Since 1937, this extraordinary place has been home to the Palais de la Découverte, a museum dedicated to popularizing science. Renovation work has created a new space dedicated to children: the Palais des Enfants. A fun place where they can learn while having fun!
The beautifully renovated Palais d’Antin is open to the public free of charge all year round(except for temporary exhibitions, which are subject to a fee). Late night openings are also available on Fridays until 10:30 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy the venue in an even more spectacular atmosphere. This is the perfect opportunity to rediscover this little-known venue before it becomes one of the capital’s most popular new cultural spots.
