A lunch high up, with a 360° view of Paris
Three years ago, Parisians discovered the first SO/Paris hotel. On the 15th and 16th floors of this dreamy glass showcase, a bar and a restaurant-club have been set up. It was on the 15th floor that we met for lunch, for a chic and ultra-sunny break. As soon as we arrived, we were captivated by the setting of Bonnie’s Rooftop Restaurant. Inside, the 60s-70s decor imagined by interior designer Jordane Arrivetz plunges us into a unique universe. The space is bathed in light, thanks to the restaurant’s immense bay windows. While Bonnie’s interior gives the impression of having one’s head in the clouds, it also opens onto an immense suspended terrace.
As the sun shines at its zenith, we choose to have lunch outside, to enjoy the exceptional (and dizzying) view of the City of Light. Comfortably seated at a white-tablecloth table, we lose our gaze in the blue of the sky and the Seine, which seem to intertwine. From the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, via Montmartre, Bonnie’s panoramic view gives us another 360° view of Paris. And it’s with this exceptional view that we settle in to try Bonnie’s Power Lunch.

The concept of this new offer: an express lunch in 45 minutes, for 45€, with a starter + main course or main course + dessert. The full version, priced at 55€, includes a starter + main course + dessert. And believe us, between the exceptional setting and the gustatory journey, the experience is well worth it.
As we enjoy this extraordinary panorama, the waiter invites us to look up to the sky. He takes great pleasure in inviting Bonnie’s guests to take photos of themselves, by raising their smartphones to the terrace’s spectacular suspended mirror-roof. The perfect way to immortalize this summit lunch.
Rooftop lunch with the best view of the capital, without a false note
After sipping a delicious cocktail, we sit down to lunch. To start, we sample the two starters on the menu: the avocado egg with guacamole & fried onions, and the sweet-and-savory coleslaw. Two ultra-fresh starters, ideal for sunny days. For the main courses, we offer two choices: the salmon béarnaise and the piece of beef, both accompanied by a salad. On the palate, the quality of the products is immediately apparent, and the flavors are spot on. The salmon with its ultra-fresh green sauce is topped with celery for a crunchy touch, and the masterfully-cooked meat is topped with a divine pepper sauce. To finish on a sweet note, we opt for the café gourmand. On the plate, pretty mignardises accompany our espresso, such as a small lemon tart, a chocolate éclair or a chou. Special mention for the excellent crêpe Suzette, Power Lunch’s second dessert option. A real favorite!
The verdict?
In short, Bonnie’s Power Lunch has it all, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The dishes are tasty and perfectly executed, the view is breathtaking, and the premium experience remains affordable.
