For years, Rock in Rio has featured the biggest talents in today’s music scene in its lineup . Who remembers Amy Winehouse at the 2008 Madrid edition? Iconic. This summer, it’s Portugal’s turn: on the 20th (sold out), 21st (sold out), 27, and 28 June, the Rock in Rio festival returns to Lisbon —just a 2-hour flight from Paris—featuring such prestigious names as Katy Perry, Linkin Park (with Emily Armstrong on vocals), rock legend Rod Stewart, West Coast rap group Cypress Hill, Brazilian artist Pedro Sampaio, Grandson, Calema, NAPA, and the Kaiser Chiefs… Tickets for the festival are already nearly sold out, and the Portuguese capital might just make it to the top of your list of getaways for 2026…
*Tickets available for June 20 in the Comfort Zone only, and in the VIP section for June 20 and 21.
Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026
A two-and-a-half-hour flight separates Paris from a festival with an ultra-eclectic lineup that will bring together pop and rock legends such as Katy Perry, Linkin Park, and the iconic Rod Stewart in 2026. It’s the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone: see your favorite artists perform live while enjoying a city getaway in Lisbon, one of Europe’s most vibrant capitals!
June 20 will feature Katy Perry, as well as Pedro Sampaio, a Brazilian music producer, DJ, and singer who blends urban genres such as funk, pop, and electronic music with Brazilian sounds like forró and piseiro—he’ll also be performing on the Rock in Rio stage. Joining these artists are Calema, the brothers from São Tomé and Príncipe, experts at getting the crowd dancing with their Afropop and kizomba sounds (to understand the massive phenomenon they’ve created among Portuguese audiences, we recommend listening to “A Nossa Vez”); and NAPA, the pop-rock band straight out of Madeira. Breaking news: Bebe Rexha will be setting the Super Bock Stage on fire.
On June 21, Linkin Park will kick off the summer on the festival’s second day. A highly anticipated concert in this new chapter for the band, featuring the instantly recognizable voice of Emily Armstrong exclusively. Cypress Hill will add their signature touch of West Coast rap to the lineup, sharing the stage with Grandson and the Kaiser Chiefs: an eclectic program.
On June 27, Rod Stewart will return to set the Rock in Rio stage ablaze after his legendary, critically acclaimed performances in 1985, 2008, and 2015, marking a true revival. He’ll share the stage with Cyndi Lauper, Xutos & Pontapés, GNR, UHF, TAXI, Syro, and many others!
Last but not least: the festival has announced the lineup for June 28 , promising a memorable night masterfully led by 21 Savage, alongside Central Cee, Rema, Matûe, Filipe Ret, Dennis, Carlao, Irina Barros, and Lola Índigo. We’re hearing that CeeLo Green is also joining the list of confirmed artists, with a performance scheduled on the Super Bock Stage for the most urban day in the festival’s history.
