It’s impossible to miss if you follow the electronic music scene: Resident Advisor, THE global leader in media specializing in electronic music, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the party is coming straight to Paris, at one of the hottest clubs right now.
Resident Advisor: 25 Years of Club Culture History, a Global Celebration
Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (aka “RA”) has established itself over the years as the go-to source for the international electronic music scene, featuring articles, interviews, podcasts, and events. To celebrate this quarter-century milestone, the media outlet is launching the RA25 project, an ambitious program that combines a deep dive into its archives, the publicationof a limited-edition book, and , most notably, a two-month global tour spanning no fewer than 10 countries.
Highlights of this editorial celebration include the release of *Front Left: 25 Years of Electronic Music From the Future*, a book compiling 25 years of journalistic archives—including interviews, feature articles, and previously unpublished photographs—exploring club culture around the world.
Paris gets its one-off event at the Essaim club
For the party portion of this tour, RA has selected a handful of handpicked cities: London, Tokyo, Taipei, New York, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Dublin, Berlin (heading to the legendary Tresor), and Sydney. Amid this lineup of prestigious cities, Paris has secured its one-off date, with a party organized at the Essaim club—the venue launched by the team behind the former Concrete, located between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est.
This choice is far from arbitrary: since its opening, Essaim has quickly established itself as one of the capital’s most cutting-edge clubs, focusing on a discerning lineup and a carefully curated sound identity. This makes this anniversary event a particularly highly anticipated occasion. The lineup has not yet been revealed, but given RA’s star power and Essaim’s reputation, it’s hard to imagine a night that won’t live up to all its promises.
