Just a stone’s throw from the Jourdain metro station, nestled at the back of a tree-lined courtyard, the Residencia Diplomático opens its doors for a unique experience centered on Venezuelan culture and exceptional craftsmanship. Craft workshops to create serving pieces, cocktail tastings, delicious and socially conscious cuisine, cocktail masterclasses focused on garnishes… All designed around the traditions and techniques that define the Diplomático brand: a rum born in Venezuela and patiently aged in oak barrels, with expertise passed down through generations of master blenders. A commitment to the long-term in the methods used to craft its rums, which can be experienced at the heart of the Residencia Diplomático from June 12 to 14, by reservation only.
Three days to explore the world of craftsmanship, from ceramics to cocktails

From June 12 to 14, three artisans will take up residence at the Residencia Diplomático to share their expertise during unique workshops. In groups of 10, participants will gather around a table to create straw marquetry coasters or shape a ceramic measuring cup, before leaving with their own handmade serving piece. You’ll also be introduced to the art of cocktail making with bartender Léa Colla and chocolatier Edwin Yansane from Maison Edwart, experimenting withgarnishes and chocolate pairings.
La Residencia Diplomático: in the heart of Venezuela

In the kitchen, Marseille-based chefs Shéhrézade Alfonso and Ruben Tayupo will showcase vegetables and spices with a creative Venezuelan menu, blending Mediterranean influences with their Latin American roots. Dishes designed to complement the notes of caramel, vanilla, and mild spices found in the Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva cocktails on the menu, to be enjoyed between conversations with the chefs.
This fleeting immersion into the world of Venezuelan Diplomático rum comes to Paris from June 12 to 14. The Residencia Diplomático is accessible by registration only.
