The Paris Catacombs reopen this April after 5 months of renovations
It’s one of the most popular tourist attractions: the Paris Catacombs. A vast underground labyrinth that houses millions of the deceased. With nearly 600,000 visitors each year, the Catacombs were definitely in need of a little facelift.

Starting in early April, you’ll discover a brand-new exhibition design that showcases the walls of bones in a whole new way. You’ll be able to appreciate new details previously unknown and become fully immersed in this unique world. To make the visit even more immersive, an audio guide in the form of high-quality immersive headphones will accompany visitors throughout the tour. The sounds will activate at certain moments to help you fully experience the history of the site through the ages.
