The Catacombs of Paris will reopen in the spring after several months of renovation work
The Catacombs of Paris are one of the most popular tourist attractions. This immense underground labyrinth is home to millions of deceased individuals. With nearly 600,000 visitors each year, the catacombs were in need of a little facelift.
Reopening of the Paris Catacombs
This spring, you will discover a brand new scenography that showcases the walls of bones in a whole new way. You will be able to appreciate new details that were previously unknown and be completely immersed in this unique world. To make the visit even more immersive, visitors will be accompanied throughout the tour by an audio guide in the form of high-quality immersive headphones. The sounds will be activated at certain moments to allow you to fully experience the history of the place through the ages.
