Damask roses, Centifolias, Rosa Gallica… Varieties as rare as they are splendid, which you can admire along a truly idyllic path. Although its history dates back to the Middle Ages, the rose garden went through some very dark days, becoming a mere shadow of its former self by the end of the 20th century. It wasn’t until 2007 that this sublime rose garden finally came back to life and was awarded the title of “Remarkable Garden” shortly thereafter.
Beyond the roses, you’ll also discovera beautiful collection of medieval plants with long-forgotten medicinal properties! Finally, after your visit, don’t hesitate to enjoy a cup of tea or a sweet treat in the tea room overlooking the garden.
