A new spot has just opened its doors in Paris, and it could very well draw crowds this spring. Its name is PRINT, and its concept is based on a simple yet effective mix. Spanning several floors, the venue brings together fine dining, music, and photography under one roof, with a program that evolves throughout the season.
From the Pointu Club to the Panoramic Rooftop
Behind this project, dubbed Print, is the team from Cracki Records, known for its parties in unconventional venues since the 2000s. They’ve taken over a massive building at 26 Rue Sorbier, right in the heart of the Belleville neighborhood—a choice that echoes the area’s creative and vibrant spirit. The adventure begins with a mesmerizing staircase that draws you up to the upper floors. Each former open space has been converted into a gallery, screening room, or relaxation area. You push open doors at random, getting lost in the corridors among photo exhibitions and installations. Don’t miss the Analogue Club room, which offers a poetic interlude with its projected slides. And when hunger strikes, a pizzeria and bar appear around a corner for a welcome break.
On the fourth floor, the atmosphere changes. The Break Room Club takes over with a curated music lineup and powerful acoustics, powered by the Based:In sound system. For the opening night, the venue even hosted a live performance by Marlon Magnée, a member of the band La Femme. One floor up, the experience becomes gastronomic. This is where chef Alexis Bijaoui has set up his pop-up restaurant. After a launch featuring sharing platters, the menu expands to offer dinners with a breathtaking view of the capital. A hidden bar even overlooks the restaurant, for those looking to extend the evening. The grand finale is at the very top: a rooftop offering a breathtaking view of the Parisian rooftops, with the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the distance. The visit ends here, above the city.
Print isn’t just a night out; it’s a total experience that breathes new life into a forgotten 20th-century building. But this artistic and sensory exploration is temporary. The venue is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., until June 7, 2024. Admission is free, but registration is often recommended for events. Keep an eye on their schedule on Instagram @print.xp and hurry to discover this concrete colossus before it closes its doors.
