Every year, the Pride Parade, formerly known as Gay Pride, brings together nearly 500,000 people from all over the Île-de-France region. Supported by some sixty LGBTQI+ associations for more than twenty years, it is one of the highlights of the year in Paris. People go there to celebrate, to defend love in all its forms, but also to campaign and rally around a noble cause. This year, in 2026, get ready for a week of festivities from June 20 to 27, with a grand finale.
Pride Parade 2026 in Paris: a week of celebration!
This year, Pride is preparing a week of festivities on the themes of love, joy, and tolerance. Organized for the second time by Inter-LGBT, this special week , from June 20 to 27, promises to be rich in emotion. On the program: activist events, concerts, screenings, and even a Pride race will be organized in Paris.
It will be an intense week of fighting discrimination and campaigning for real equality. Of course, the week will end with a bang on June 27 with the Pride march. Although the exact route has not yet been officially confirmed, the event is expected to offer a rich and lively itinerary, as it does every year. As a reminder, last year’s parade started at Porte de la Villette (Corentin Cariou metro station) before reaching Place de la République for a final show lasting until around 11 p.m., with live concerts and memorable performances!
Of course, this year, the floats will be part of the parade! Essential for LGBTQI+ associations, they help raise awareness among the general public. Music and dancers are expected to accompany this colorful festive day.
See you next June to celebrate love, diversity, and tolerance!
