Patins en Folie is a skating rink that has taken up winter residence in the Parc André Citroën since last year. Good news: it’s back this year in an expanded version, with a larger surface area (600 m² of real ice instead of 450) for even more fun. A 100 m² Kids area has also been set up to enable the youngest to learn to skate freely. Yet another ice rink? No, because this one stands out not only for its size, which makes it the largest outdoor ice rink in Paris, but also for the diversity of its entertainment, from DJ sets to gourmet chalets, this year even more diverse and varied to please everyone, sweet and salty alike. Put on your skates and let’s get ready for some pure fun! And don’t delay: it closes its doors on January 4, 2026!
Patins en Folie gets the whole of Paris gliding
On the festive menu: 600 m² of real ice, gourmet chalets, a kid-friendly area, DJ sets and an enchanting setting of garlands and illuminations to plunge headfirst into the magic of the festive season. In short, everything you need to offer Parisians a fun-filled interlude to share with family and friends, from morning till nightfall.
In the spacious green setting of the Parc André Citroën, under the imposing Ballon de Paris (the hot-air balloon that serves as the emblem of the venue, and which will rise above it every day), Patins en Folie invites all skaters to experience a moment of winter escapism. For families, morning skating lessons offer children a fun introduction to the sport, supervised by professional skaters.
During the day and evening, there’s plenty of entertainment, with music, light shows and decorations perfect for feeding your Instagram feed. After the effort, the comfort: an entire gourmet village has been set up with 9 chalets for sweet and savoury eaters, who can warm up with a chocolate or mulled wine, and enjoy fondue, raclette, crêpes, waffles, cotton candy and other winter specialities. All to the sound of DJ sets or a playlist 100% in keeping with the theme, courtesy of RFM. In short, in this huge playground, anything is possible!
