An emblematic club and concert venue in the heart of the capital, the name Le Palace still resonates like a legend in Parisian nightlife. A veritable institution for parties, music and glamour, the venue on rue du Faubourg-Montmartre (9th arrondissement) is set to rekindle the flame. According to its new owner Mickael Chetrit, it is due to reopen at the end of 2026.
The Palace makes a comeback
The project aims to restore the Palace to its former glory: a strong musical DNA, a prestigious stage, a mythical atmosphere of fire, glitter and unforgettable evenings. The idea is to revive the festive spirit that has marked several generations of night owls, with concerts, DJ sets, shows and certainly that unique atmosphere that blends avant-garde, audacity and elegance.

First opened in the 1920s as a theater, it took on a whole new dimension in the late 1970s thanks to Fabrice Emaer. Nights there became a mix of audacity, fashion and music. Andy Warhol, Prince, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, Karl Lagerfeld and Gainsbourg were among those who passed through the red vestibule and danced in what was considered Paris’s Studio 54. The venue was also an important stage for new wave, punk, pop and avant-garde music that marked several generations.
While nothing is yet set in stone, we’re expecting a reopening in late 2026, with a concentrated concert offering. After years of change, this venue finally seems ready to vibrate again!
