On the edge of the 16th arrondissement, the Jardin d’Acclimatation holds a special place in the Parisian imagination. Its paths evoke Sunday strolls, first rides on the carousel, and those afternoons when you always end up coming across a peacock.
But on Friday, September 4, 2026, you’ll experience it in a whole new light—more specifically, after dark.
For the first time, the garden will open its doors after closing time to host an outdoor Candlelight Signature concert. Surrounded by greenery and the glow of thousands of candles, the Ensemble Paname will perform Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons under the Parisian sky.
A one-time event, in a place that Parisians rarely get to experience after dark.
Candlelight Signature: The Four Seasons by Vivaldi at Jardin d’Acclimatation

A piece of Parisian history since 1860
Inaugurated in 1860 at the initiative of Napoleon III andEmpress Eugénie, the Jardin d’Acclimatation was conceived as a space dedicated to nature, discovery, and leisurely strolls.
More than 160 years later, its 19 hectares still blend 19th-century charm with contemporary Parisian life. Historic carousels, retro attractions, lawns, and shaded paths share the setting, far from the capital’s sometimes hectic pace.
People come here to escape the noise of the boulevards, stroll beneath the trees, and rediscover a lighter side of Paris. More than just a green space, the garden holds the memories of several generations.
By joining the ranks of venues hosting a Candlelight Signature concert, it now stands alongside remarkable sites such as the Eiffel Tower, the Palais des Papes in Avignon, and the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona. For one night, this piece of Parisian heritage will in turn become the setting for an encounter between nature, light, and music.

Vivaldi under the trees, performed by the Ensemble Paname
Published in 1725, *The Four Seasons* ranks among the most famous works of classical music. Through four concertos (*Spring*, *Summer*, *Autumn*, and *Winter*), Antonio Vivaldi transforms the movements of nature into a vivid narrative.
The violins mimic the song of birds and the murmur of streams; the heat of summer gives way to a thunderstorm; autumn celebrates the harvest; and winter brings the sound of the icy wind. Performed outdoors, the music will resonate in a special way amid the rustling of the trees and the evening air.
To bring this event to life, Candlelight has enlistedthe Ensemble Paname. Founded in 2019, this quartet brings together musicians from prestigious institutions, includingthe Paris National Opera, the Berlin Philharmonic, andthe Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
It’s hard to imagine a more fitting setting for this piece.
