The 7th art is definitely on a roll in Paris, especially in its open-air version! After the Journées Internationales du Film sur l’Art, Paris’ first luxury cinema and our selection of the capital’s finest independent cinemas, summer 2025 will see the renewal of Ciné Tarmac, exceptional film screenings at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace.
Unusual and magical film screenings
Imagine sitting back in your deckchair on the tarmac at Le Bourget, enjoying a cinematic masterpiece projected onto the fuselage of a Boeing 747. No, it’s not a crazy dream, but the program for the exceptional Ciné Tarmac! For three idyllic evenings, the Musée de l’Air et de l’ Espace team will welcome you for the fifth year running to this unusual setting for a program packed with surprises and emotions.

From 7 p.m., you’ll be invited to visit the museum and take part in a host of activities specially planned for the occasion. Then, as night falls, head out onto the tarmac, where a few deckchairs will be waiting for you. Make yourself comfortable, arm yourself with your popcorn and marvel at the masterpieces projected onto the screen. You won’t be dealing with an ordinary cinema canvas, since the image will appear on the fuselage of an airliner!
Join us July 4-6 for a selection of critically acclaimed films, many of them aviation-related. A free shuttle bus to Gare du Nord will be provided at the end of the screening, and registration is free for under-26s.
Last year’s films included L’Astronaute, Buzz l’Éclair and Proxima. This year, we’re expecting an equally exciting program! Here’s what these magical evenings will consist of:
- Friday, July 4: Pearl Harbor by Micheal Bay
- Saturday, July 5: Porco Rosso by Hayao Miyazaki
- Sunday, July 6: Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal
