The Miyazaki universe in the spotlight at UGC Ciné Cité Bercy
Immerse yourself in the fabulous world of Hayao Miyazaki, from November 21 to 25. To the delight of fans, UGC Ciné Cité Bercy will once again be screening some of Studio Ghibli’s most memorable films.
Among them: Princesse Mononoké, Ponyo sur la falaise, Le Château ambulant, Mon voisin Totoro, Le Voyage de Chihiro and Le Garçon et le Héron, which will be shown again on the big screen.
To kick off this retrospective, join us on November 21 at the UGC Ciné Cité Bercy cinema for a documentary dedicated to the artist’s latest film: Hayao Miyazaki and The Heron.
You’ll discover all the creative stages of the film “The Boy and the Heron”. From the birth of an idea, through phases of doubt, this documentary is a true dive into the intimacy of the animation genius. For the first time, the secretive Studio Ghibli opened its doors exclusively for this documentary. It’s a unique opportunity to learn more about this iconic Japanese animation studio.
