Matsuri, the Japanese Festival returns to Paris in June
In 2022, the 1st edition of the Matsuri Japanese Festival attracted several thousand visitors to the Cité Fertile. In all, over 10,000 Japanese spirits were on offer for tasting. Numerous merchants and craftsmen also introduced the public to their jewelry, decorative objects and huge variety of kimonos. One hectare of discoveries, three days of festivities, a DJ set, three areas dedicated to tasting, Japanese products and street food… This festival, with its Japanese fragrances and colors, was a real success. And in the performance area, it was time to celebrate with dance, live painting and taiko shows.
