Today, we present the official Paris street nomenclature map, which tells us a little more about each of the streets that run through the City of Light.
It’s easy to use: fly over the streets of Paris, and move your mouse over the one you’re interested in. You’ll then have access to a wealth of information on its status, the date and history of its naming. And if you’re curious enough, you might even come across a few anecdotes! Although it exists in digital form today, this document was actually created in 1873! Since then, the town has been constantly updating and adding to it.
