The map of Parisian terraces: the real guide to summer!
Following on from the map of filming locations for The Count of Monte Cristo and Emily in Paris, mapstr now presents us with a handy interactive map of the best terraces in Paris. There are no fewer than 206 bars and restaurants in every arrondissement and district of the capital. Between “hidden nuggets, lively addresses and chill spots for aperitifs”, there’s a whole range of spots to choose from this summer.
Some of our favorites in this selection include Filakia, Hôtel Amour and The Hoxton. Just a few of the many terraces we recommend. What’s more, this little tool adapts to our desires, since numerous tags (e.g. Brunch, Italian, or Glacier) act as filters and help us choose.
But that’s not all: if you zoom out a little, you’ll notice that addresses are also listed in London, Rome, Lisbon and Madrid! All in all, 5 European capitals have been sifted for the best terraces. So this little guide will also come in handy if you’re planning a trip abroad!
