This place, created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, houses over 18,000 manga titles to read on-site, as well as a café, retro arcade machines, a Japanese delicatessen… A true mecca for fans of Japanese culture!
A manga café with over 18,000 titles available for self-service
In this cozy 300-square-meter space, everything is designed so you won’t notice the time passing… You’ll find a very cozy café area, vintage consoles available for free use, snacks and treats fromthe best Japanese konbini, and above all, a huge library.
This café, unique in Paris, is the largest in France and allows you to discover or rediscover gems of Japanese culture. One Piece, The Studio of Witches, Attack on Titan… The best manga from yesterday and today are all available here. And you can browse them freely all day long.
Access is granted directly at the front desk upon registration (just like in a traditional library). Once registered,you’ll haveunlimitedaccess to your favorite mangaas well as the Manga Café’s other services. It costs 4 euros for one hour of reading during peak hours,3 euros during off-peak hours, and 20 euros for an all-you-can-read “day pass.” Once inside, cold drinks are available on a self-service basis…
And if you fall in love with one of the manga titles, you can expand your collection with approximately 6,000 titles available for purchase. A must-visit spot!
