A romantic meal, a getaway, or a cultural outing: Paris is brimming with ideas for celebrating Valentine’s Day, but some really stand out from the crowd. In the heart of the 7th arrondissement, the Rodin Museum offers an experience that goes beyond the traditional dinner for two, inviting couples to enjoy an evening that combines emotion, artistic discovery, and a poetic atmosphere.
The Rodin Museum’s traditional Soirée Love is back
The concept of the 2026 Love Evening is based on a celebration of love “through the ages, “ echoing the themes dear to Auguste Rodin and the passionate scenes depicted in his sculptures. Among the key works highlighted that evening is The Kiss, which has always symbolized passion and intimacy in modern sculpture.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with entry slots every 30 minutes. The evening will take place within the Hôtel Biron, a historic building that now houses the museum’s collections, allowing participants to wander between rooms while enjoying the planned activities.
In terms of entertainment, the lobby will host a wonderful introduction to tango, led by professional dancers, to immerse guests in the excitement of early 20th-century Parisian nights. In the galleries, actors will perform scenes inspired by the legendary couples who influenced Rodin, from Francesca and Paolo to Romeo and Juliet.
The experience will continue with sensory journeys inspired by the Carte de Tendre, a 17th-century allegory representing the paths of love. Alternatively, a creative activity will invite everyone to compose a personalized love note with the help of an illustrator: these messages can then be placed in a temporary mailbox, which will be opened on a secret date at the museum. There will also be a pop-up bar for a gourmet break and a photo studio to immortalize the evening, while the boutique will offer a selection of gifts inspired by love and art.
With dance, poetry, theater, and great sculptures, the Rodin Museum promises once again to host the most unusual Valentine’s Day evening.
