Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport in record time thanks to the new metro line 17
While the RER B and the 9517 express bus currently take you to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, this will soon be a thing of the past. By 2030, the new Grand Paris Express line 17 will enable thousands of passengers to reach the airport in no time at all. Thanks to this line, it will take less than 25 minutes to travel between nine stations, from Saint-Denis – Pleyel to Le Mesnil-Amelot ( compared to an average of around 50 minutes today to travel from central Paris to Paris CDG…).
Line 17 Paris CDG
After years of dreaming about it, travelers can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! This future metro line promises to take you from La Courneuve to France’s largest airport in just 20 minutes, significantly reducing congestion on the RER B line, which sees ridership increase by 2% each year, further exacerbating its saturation point. Every day, connections will be provided every 15 minutes, from 5 a.m. to midnight.
While the first section of Line 17 is scheduled to open in 2027, we will have to wait until 2010 to use the very last section, which will serve the airport. We can’t wait!
