Harry Potter is undoubtedly one of the literary sagas that has had the greatest impact on an entire generation. Between the films and the forthcoming series, the famous wizard is not about to be forgotten. What if we told you that you could put yourself in the shoes of a Hogwarts wizard for a day? A magical event is offering you the chance to take a day-long test of your knowledge of the Harry Potter universe. The various tests will take place in one of the most beautiful libraries in Paris: the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève in the Vᵉ arrondissement. And best of all , registration is totally free.
A giant Harry Potter quiz in an absolutely gorgeous Paris location
On August 30, lucky participants will have the chance to occupy one of the most beautiful libraries in Paris for an entire day: the Bibliothèque Saint-Geneviève! The building is over 500 years old, and its neo-Gothic style fits in perfectly with the Hogwarts atmosphere. In this magical setting, listed as a historic monument, the apprentice wizards will answer a variety of questions.
Atotal of seven 1.5-hour examination sessions will be held throughout the day, including three specially designed for families. From 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m., registered fans can take part in a variety of tests, including multiple-choice questions, audio extracts and a dictation on the Harry Potter saga. And the craziest part? Some of the tests will be orchestrated by Dov Milsztajn and Solange Boulanger, the French voices of Drago Malfoy and Dolores Ombrage. Thrills guaranteed for all fans, who will really feel like they’re immersed in the universe.
Each copy will be corrected, and the result given at the end of the day. While you’re waiting to find out your score, you can take advantage of free activities, such as a unique immersive experience designed by Haribo. Designed as a rite of passage for sorcerer’s apprentices, it will call on all your senses to complete three sensory challenges. Those who successfully complete the challenge will leave with a souvenir photo, a personalized certificate and exclusive Haribo x Harry Potter sweets.
While participants in the Grand Examen will not receive any gifts directly for taking part , they will have the chance to win a Haribo pack at the end of each session.
