If you’re looking for a lake near Paris where you can lay out your towel, the Souppes-sur-Loing recreation center (Seine-et-Marne) checks all the boxes: a white-sand beach, crystal-clear water, and water activities (pedal boats, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing), not to mention a snack bar and playgrounds for kids. Swimming is open from July 4 to August 30, 2026; lifeguard supervision costs €3 for adults and is free for children under 3.
