One of the best free events of the spring and summer in Paris, Kiosques en fête makes its grand return to the capital for the 2026 edition, with hundreds of outdoor events scheduled from April 18 to October 25. For more than six months, the kiosks in Parisian squares and gardens will host concerts, shows, dances, readings, workshops, and sports activities—all completely free of charge.
40 kiosks and 1,000 events in Paris
Spread across all the arrondissements, the kiosks become open-air stages accessible to everyone for the duration of the season. Whether with family, friends, or during an impromptu stroll, often all it takes is stepping into a park to stumble upon a concert or an unexpected event.
For the 2026 edition, 40 Parisian kiosks will participate in the initiative. This represents over 1, 000 free events throughout the season, according to information from the City of Paris. The event has established itself as a favorite among residents, precisely because it blends culture with simplicity. No complicated reservations or special budget required: just show up, settle onto a bench or in the grass, and enjoy.

As usual, the program will be eclectic: live music, marching bands, DJ sets, dance, theater, community forums, choirs, wellness workshops, and children’s activities will follow one another depending on the venue and date. In the 20th arrondissement, for example, the season already includes Brazilian percussion, open-air DJ sets, participatory concerts, and several festive events at Belleville Park or Sarah Bernhardt Square.
The event grew out of an idea from the Paris Participatory Budget, driven by a desire to restore these historic kiosks to their rightful place in local life. Since then, the initiative has found its audience and marks the return of spring every year.
To make the most of the 2026 edition, the easiest way is to check the program by arrondissement published by the City of Paris. With its free events, relaxed atmosphere, and presence throughout the capital, Kiosques en Fête is one of those initiatives that reminds us that in Paris, culture can also be experienced right around the corner. And with a season running through the end of October, there will be plenty of opportunities to stumble upon a wonderful surprise!
