Want to travel to Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, or Ljubljana without having to book a separate train ticket for each leg of the trip? That’s the whole idea behind Interrail. And for a few days, the famous European rail pass is offering a particularly attractive discount: up to 50% off certain passes, provided you purchase them before October 1.
Half-price Interrail for a week
The biggest discount applies to passes valid for a long period. The “15 days of travel over 2 months” Global Pass is now half price, dropping from €415 to €207.50. Passes valid for less than one month, as well as One Country Passes, are eligible for a 15% discount. A pass that normally costs €212 will cost €180.20 during the promotion.
Another handy detail: there’s no need to plan a departure in the coming weeks. Passes purchased during this promotion can be activated up to 11 months after purchase, with no restrictions on the travel period.
So how does this rail pass actually work? The Global Pass allows you to travel on participating rail networks in 33 European countries, with several options depending on the number of days you want to spend on trains. There are also One Country Passes for those who prefer, for example, to spend their entire trip in Italy, Switzerland, or Austria.

On any travel day included in the pass, you can take as many trains as needed. For a French resident using a Global Pass, it also allows for one trip out of France and another back during the pass’s validity period.
Travelers aged 12–27 can also choose a Youth Pass, while a Senior rate is available for those aged 60 and older. Children aged 4–11 travel for free with a Child Pass when accompanied by an adult, a young adult, or a senior holding a compatible pass.
For this specific promotion, however, it’s best to be sure of your plans: passes can be exchanged or refunded within 7 days of purchase, but not thereafter.
