Whether it’s a float parade, folk dancing or old-fashioned threshing, Seine-et-Marne is set to host a very special celebration this summer. On August 24, a new edition of the Fête de la Moisson will be held in the heart of the old town of Provins, and a whole program of events will enliven the surrounding area.
Fête de la Moisson 2025 arrives in Provins
If Provins is known for its superb Médiévales festival held every summer (we loved the last edition, with its unprecedented drone show), another event will set the pace in the city just before the start of the new school year. “During the day, in a verdant setting, as you stroll through the streets and squares of the medieval town, you’ll be immersed in the atmosphere of life in our countryside. “Yes, the Harvest Festival is gradually taking shape, and we’re expecting to see a lot of you in the bays of the medieval town.
The program already includes a grand parade of wheat-decorated floats through the streets of the upper town, with no fewer than 500 participants expected. There will also be parades of vintage cars and tractors. Throughout the day, a host of events will put the village in the mood for celebration. These include street music, a brass band, exhibitions, a craft market and much more!
August 24 is an unforgettable day in Provins. It’s the perfect day out for the whole family!
