The Grandes Eaux de Versailles Harry Potter Special: a unique event to experience this summer
This summer of 2026 is set to be truly magical! For the first time ever, the Grandes Eaux de Versailles will not be celebrating the Sun King, but the most famous wizard of all: Harry Potter. To mark the 25th anniversary of the film saga, Warner Bros Discovery has pulled out all the stops. The festivities will take place in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.

On August 29, the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes will be transformed for a special evening of magic and nostalgia. To the rhythm of the films’ iconic music, the majestic fountains of the palace will light up and come to life, performing spectacular water displays. This magical show will be accompanied by drones and fireworks to light up the sky with a blaze of color .

Visitors will venture into the heart of the groves for amagical walkinsearch of iconic objects inspired by the wizarding world. Throughout the evening, the illuminated fountains and their spectacular water features will come to life to the rhythm of cult music from the films. The finalewill feature a drone and fireworks display lighting up the sky. Youngand old alike are invited to comedressed in their house colorsto immerse themselves in this unique experience! A one-of-a-kind show that will take place for one night only.
When will tickets go on sale for the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes: Harry Potter – Return to Hogwarts?
Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, March 12, at 2 p.m., exclusively on the Palace of Versailles website! Prices are €43 for adults, €35 for children, and €39 for reduced rates for 12-17 year olds. Please note that the show is free for children aged 0-3, upon presentation of proof of age.

Although there is an admission fee for the show, there will be a free event all day on August 29 in the palace gardens! Thisfree event, which requires registration, will take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is sure to delight all apprentice wizards aged 7 to 77!
